Be part of our farm family

At UU Family Farm, volunteers are an important part of our daily life.
Whether you love animals, enjoy being outdoors, or want hands-on farm experience, volunteering with us is a meaningful and rewarding way to connect with nature and our community.

What You’ll Do

As a volunteer, you may help with:

  • 🐾 Feeding and caring for small animals

  • 🧹 Light cleaning of animal areas and shared spaces

  • 👋 Greeting guests and assisting during open days or events

  • 🌿 General farm support (seasonal tasks vary)

Tasks depend on the day, weather, and farm needs — flexibility is key!

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers who are:

  • Kind, patient, and respectful to animals

  • Comfortable working outdoors in different weather

  • Responsible and able to follow farm safety rules

  • At least 15 years old

  • Able to commit to scheduled shifts

👉 No prior farm experience is required — training and guidance will be provided.

Volunteer Schedule

  • Volunteers are accepted based on farm availability and season

  • Volunteers needed all year round

  • Weekday and limited weekend opportunities may be available

  • Minimum commitment: [e.g. 1 shift per week / flexible / event-based]

We’ll always confirm schedules in advance.

  • This is an unpaid volunteer position

  • Volunteers must follow all farm rules and staff instructions

  • Animal welfare and safety always come first

  • Volunteer positions are limited and subject to approval

  • UU Family Farm, its owners, staff, and affiliates are not responsible for injuries, accidents, illness, or loss of personal property that may occur during volunteer activities

  • Volunteers may be required to sign a Volunteer Waiver & Release of Liability prior to starting.
