Refund Policy

Weather & Event Rescheduling Policy
Deposit Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all group bookings. The deposit covers venue and staff preparation and will not be refunded in cash.
Cancellation Due to Weather
If the event cannot proceed due to rain or severe weather:
• Any balance payment already made will be fully refunded;
• The deposit will not be refunded but may be credited toward any group activity or admission at UU Family Farm within 12 months.
Rescheduling
Customers may request to reschedule their booking prior to the original event date:
• First reschedule: free of charge, with both deposit and balance carried forward;
• Subsequent reschedules: an administrative fee may apply (UU Family Farm reserves the right to adjust this fee).
Scope of Application
This policy applies only to cancellations or reschedules caused by weather. For cancellations or no-shows unrelated to weather, both the deposit and any paid balance are non-refundable.
UU Family Farm Group Booking Terms & Conditions
Deposit & Payment
Paying the deposit secures your selected date and 4-hour time slot.
Deposit = number of guests × $5, which covers garbage disposal and cleanup.
If garbage is not taken away or the area is left unclean, a service fee will be applied.
Final guest count must be confirmed at least 7 days before your event.
A guest list must be submitted a few days prior to your event for planning and safety purposes.
Farm Usage
Each booking includes 4 hours of farm use (including setup and cleanup).
Extended use depends on the day and availability. If you wish to book outside regular operation hours, please let us know in advance. Additional fees may apply.
Parties with additional sponsors or organizers may be subject to an extra fee. Please inform us in advance if others are involved.
Food & Catering
Outside food is allowed. Individuals may bring their own food.
For large events, a special permit may be required due to Vancouver Coastal Health regulations.
The farm does not provide or serve food.
Weather & Cancellation Policy
Parties are held rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
If the event is canceled due to rain or adverse weather:
The final payment will be fully refunded;
The deposit will not be refunded in cash, but may be credited toward any future group booking or tickets within 12 months.
Customers may reschedule once free of charge; additional reschedules may incur a service fee.
Non-weather related cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable (deposit and final payment).
Group Wristbands & Entry
We can provide bracelets for your group.
Your group will have a table and chair setup outside the entrance.
All group members must wear a bracelet to enter the farm, and a safety waiver must be completed upon entry.
